I would really like to make a post saying a miracle has happened and Lita is up and playing like a normal kitten again but at the moment I find myself praying for a miracle just to get her back to where she was just yesterday. I’ve done everything possible to keep her immobile, belly full and by my side 24 hours a day but she just continues decline, her front legs are now getting stiff and last night she began panting like she couldn’t breathe. After a long night comforting her I’ve been able to get her back to normal breathing and she ate a good breakfast but the gleam of hope in her eyes seems to be fading and unfortunately, there isn’t any possible help available for her condition till possibly later in the week.
Last night I posted about a rescue I made at the Whataburger while out feeding my colonies but with every victory for me lately, there seems to be a loss because I found my River Cat “Lana” had been hit by a car so I brought her home to bury her. We had a very special and unique friendship after her TNR so I plan on making a post on my personal page for her.
I’m going to try and keep this page as positive as I can today with random kitty stuff because sharing my love for cats seems to be my own type of therapy and I welcome each and every one of you to do the same.
